    Vi alejarse a mi contacto.

Key name: Spider's leg

We get together as usual with Spider's Paw in Independencia and Avenida La Plata, in the Ethereal bar.
With the key words in Spanish corresponding to our profession, I said:
—I am strange, spider, that being a fly does not know me and that being an ant do not tell me.
    To which Spider-Paw replied:
    —On Sunday, Piringo is married.
We looked, we noticed that there were no intruders in the surroundings and, my companion said:
—In the neighborhood of Pompeii, there are tangueros who, when they feel cornered, say: "Ma, I do not know, I had a barbarian Kurd."
I looked at him without saying anything. I concluded that it was a very clever ruse of my companion and the tangueros.
I waited for my response to have a similar effect, and I refuted:
—The key to success lies in having attitude.
—Attitude María Marta? —Asked my interlocutor.
I immediately noticed that he was using a very good tactic of distraction, leaving me in doubt whether with "Marta Marta" he was referring to a friend of his, to the band "Actitud María Marta", or to the Argentine singer of the same name.
Now he knew his intentions were not to get to the point of the question so as not to give me the information he needed. I thought for a moment. But Pata de Araña, with a tactic inspired by a zoo, and not to let me think, said:
—It seems to me that you are escaping the turtle.
I looked at him and said:
—When everyone believes they understand everything, nobody really understands anything.
My interlocutor smiled and said with agility:
    —I laugh in January.
—Enough! —I responded almost abruptly. Continue:
—If we're not going to talk about anything, we'd better split up.
We both got up almost at the same time. We looked at the waiter who, moments before, had served us two caipirinhas that we hardly touched, and who had paid attention to our conversation. He looked at us with puzzled, frightened faces. Then, with a wave of his hand, he told us to leave without paying.
So we did. When we got together in Ethereal, Spider's Paw and I rarely get charged.
I thought about the possibility that the boy suspected something of the condition of Spider's Paw and mine, that we belonged to two intelligence services. If I knew something about my partner, who answered to Brasilia or myself, who responded to the Rioplatense government.
I saw my contact go away.
I smiled for a moment. I thought three things: first, that next time we would speak in Portuguese, that I hoped that the Brazilian secret service really had some important information about Erks's intraterrestrials. Finally, with a half smile, that this was one of the advantages of working for the secret services. Among so many conspiracies of intra-terrestrial, goblins and so on, one does not charge caipirinhas in bars.
